Research Task 3:0 - Building a toolkit

This research consisted of looking around my house to choose existing materials to make a travel kit.
I had to consider its portability, versatility and practicality of my chosen materials to use it at home or outdoors, be it at a cafe, on the street, in a park, wherever I might be so that when I see something of interest to sketch, I’ll have my kit at hand and get it working in a matter of seconds.

Depending of where I’m going will dictate the materials I take with me. If I know I’m going to a cafe, for example, then I know a table might be available and therefore I take a wider selection of materials. Conversely, If knowing I’m going to a park and having no chance to sit then I would bring a simple pocket sketchbook and a pen.
Obviously, the material will be carried inside either a backpack or simply inside the pocket of my jacket.
Having sketched for a few years, below’s my typical toolkit.

Depending where I’m going will dictate the amount of material I’ll carry it with me.
